Disney's Grand Floridian Beach Resort opened at 4401 Floridian Way in Walt Disney World. Re-named Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in 1997, it was inspired by the Victorian era beach resorts built along Florida's east coast during the late 1800s.
Today the deluxe resort features over 2,000 rooms spread out among six red-gabled buildings. The Grand Floridian sits on the shores of the man-made Seven Seas Lagoon across from Magic Kingdom and right next door to Disney's Wedding Pavilion.
